A three film documentary series about wine makers and wine culture spotlighting the legendary regions of Burgundy, Champagne, and the Douro Valley was still in production when it came to Polished. The films needed recognition and praise right from the start to secure distribution and reach their target audiences.
Our goal was to get A YEAR IN BURGUNDY, A YEAR IN CHAMPAGNE, and later A YEAR IN PORT into the larger food and wine conversation through creation of a web site and social media accounts, direct press outreach, film festivals, and a series of private cultivation screenings for industry insiders.
A YEAR IN BURGUNDY and A YEAR IN CHAMPAGNE have won media coverage in more than 30 countries, including rave reviews in all leading wine publications in the US, UK and France, and major newspapers like the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times. This proof of interest has helped land the documentaries an international distribution deal with Samuel Goldwyn Films. The final film in the series, A YEAR IN PORT, will be released on iTunes September 6, 2016.
